of quinoa and double the Brussel

I love the textural combination
of the
sprouts mixed with the
quinoa and smooth sauce.

I can not have gluten
of coarse, but also am now allergic to oats and need to

quinoa, ect)... I can not have any dairy either.
I've been trying to focus on my protein intake lately, and this is an easy recipe to slip more veggie protein into — I served my bowl
of curry over a bowl
of cooked
quinoa and put some
sprouted lentils into the curry.
In this salad there are some interesting flavors and textures going on, with the creamy avocado contrasting beautifully with the
sprouted quinoa and pistachio, whilst the ruby - red jewels
of the pomegranate offer a delightful burst
of tart flavor.
The
sprouted quinoa is a shining example
of pure, healthy goodness as through the
sprouting process the natural enzymes are activated, it is easier to digest and the vitamin content is boosted.
We had phyllo wrapped asparagus (a la Paula Dean... no shame here), pancetta - gruyere sweet potatoes (probably MVP
of the meal and also most likely to give you a heart attack but totally worth it), sourdough bread stuffing, brussel
sprouts with pancetta (yes, that's the second time I've said pancetta... again, no shame), and my creations, pear - pomegranate - goat cheese - pecan salad (duh), and my
quinoa risotto.

sprouted buckwheat,
sprouted millet,
quinoa, hemp seed) DAIRY — 1/4 cup (like ricotta, greek yogurt, or cottage cheese) DRIZZLE — Tiny drizzle
of olive oil and / or honey and a sprinkle
of salt Other fun options — 1/4 avocado, 1/4 cup whole grains (like cooked
quinoa or farro), 1/4 cup cooked beets, anything else you can think
of!

I can never get enough
of roasted brussels
sprouts or
quinoa so combining the two sounds perfect!

Sprouts Beet Salad is a great salad for the Wintertime or actually anytime.
This Superfood Salad is loaded with curly kale, crunchy broccoli slaw, cabbage, shaved brussel
sprouts, apples and sunflower seeds, as well as protein - dense
quinoa, small bites
of beets and chewy dried cranberries.
I'm calling this a gratin because it's based off
of my Brussels
Sprout Quinoa Gratin, but you could also refer to it as a casserole, a variation
of mac and cheese, and maybe even a hotdish (straight - up Minnesota talk, don't ya know).

sprouted breads and might have
quinoa bread.

sprout petals on top, this dish also stars red
quinoa which is gluten - free, and the only plant - based protein to have all nine essential amino acids.
I believe certain people can, in fact, eat a small amount
of gluten free grains and be OK, such as
sprouted buckwheat and
quinoa.
Some people like to
sprout their
quinoa but it might depend on the type
of quinoa you've got, whether this is actually possible.
