Hellooo I came here today to post pretty foofed up pictures of the kitchen and her subway tiles looking all dressed up and pretty... what I didn't realise was that I hadn't posted the second
part of the subway tile post on how we did it (just call me a DIY blogger, not) so here goes with the second part of this...
But because of all the dust and the high costs which will come up I haven't realize it'til YET as I've seen your remodeling I already was in 2 different hardware stores and they only provides that
kind of subway tile style in only little tiny glass mosaic tilings.

tired of subway tile as a backsplash — I want something more unique.

Around the range, an antique mantel has been transformed into a range hood, serving as a substantial form for a
field of subway tiles installed in a classic herringbone pattern.
I looked at a gazillion pics on
instagram of subway tile showers to see how to lay the tiles, and how to do the edges, and the cutout, and I realized that really it's all preference.
We actually did a smaller
version of this subway tile in our upstairs shower when we did our big bathroom makeover — it was easier since we didn't have to lay each tile individually.
We have the shower tiled (white 4 ″ tile with two
rows of subway tile in the middle), but I'd like a more modern look for the rest of this one.
Now, black lower cabinets, sections of oak cabinetry and an extensive
use of subway tile (including on the range hood) give the new kitchen a decidedly different look from her previous one.
Her latest show shies away from celebrities, and from figures in general, instead presenting utterly banal objects and interiors: a bathroom door, a wooden stool, a wall
of subway tiles.
But I do love the look
of the subway tiles and the grey grout.
