I added some fresh cherry
tomatoes on the side as well as a baked
sweet potato, which I drizzled with olive oil, sprinkled on some pumpkin seeds and put a touch
of salt and pepper over the top.

tomatoes, sugar snap peas, spinach and pomegranates is so yum, with a great range

tomatoes get
sweeter, the subtle flavors
of the mozzarella and avocado are heightened, and when the drizzle hits the basil you will INSIST that you're eating bruschetta for dinner... and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
In Eastern Maryland and Virginia its pulled pork mixed with a slightly tangy, slightly
sweet tomato based sauce, in Kansas its pulled pork drenched in a super
sweet, dark colored molasses based sauce, in North Carolina its pulled pork in a shockingly sour vinegar based sauce, and in Alabama... well in Alabama they live under the delusion that the best BBQ in the world comes in the form

Some suggestions: instead
of tomatoes, try any juicy, slightly
sweet vegetable; add some kidney beans in there; replace the cucumbers with something equally crunchy, like fresh bell peppers; if you like the taste
of raw onions, you can put some
of those in; sub out the Feta for a goat cheese or perhaps Parmesan shavings; add roasted nuts or seeds; etc..
So I got out the dehydrator and turned a bumper crop
of sweet, red fruit into the tastiest dried
tomato snackin» bites.
I wanted this particular meat sauce to have a slightly different flavor profile than a typical meat ragu, so instead
of using red wine and crushed
tomatoes, I went for a
sweet, but acidic balsamic vinegar and pungent wheat beer.
Filling: 2 red bell peppers 11 tbsp olive oil, divided 1 small butternut squash, cut into 1» cubes Kosher salt Freshly ground pepper 1 small red - skinned
sweet potato, peeled, cut into 1/2» cubes 4 oz
of cherry
tomatoes, cut in half 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar 2 small onion, thinly sliced 1 small fennel bulb, thinly sliced 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves, divided 4 oz fresh goat cheese, crumbled 2 large eggs 3/4 cup heavy cream
We «re going to use the second head
of Romaine lettuce this weekend in an entree salad with the yellow squash (shaved), the second
tomato, the last cucumber (along with shrimp and corn and a
sweet cilantro vinaigrette).
It consists
of Roma and sun - dried
tomatoes tossed with fresh basil, pungent garlic, fruity olive oil, and
sweet balsamic vinegar, piled on top
of toasted slices
of baguette, and finished with a blanket
of melted fresh mozzarella.
Delicious
sweet tomatoes any time
of year.
After all, white
sweet potatoes are tasty and my nomato sauce opens up a whole range
of tomato - free dishes.
Sun dried
tomatoes have such an incredible
sweet, savoury flavour that this pesto adds a bit
of pizzaz to anything it touches.
