of a taco salad tomorrow night... Besides putting it on a bun like pictured, any other ideas?

I know we're probably going to eat these hipster Mexican
taco salad boats every Tuesday for the next month, and when my Dad and his wife come to visit in a few weeks — they're spending three months driving from one coast
of Canada to the other, then back again - I'll be making these shrimp burgers with Old Bay mayo for the whole group.
Assemble the

I took the marinade from these healthy thai steak
tacos and used it for the meat, prepped a
salad with tons
of salty cashews, then roasted the heck out
of some mangos until they were caramely and pureed them into a dressing.
Because
of this, the combinations
of flavors that can be created in your
tacos, burrito, enchiladas, or
salads are numerous.
Make this recipe often, and for an on the go option you can make «
taco salad in a bag»... just buy the single serve packages
of doritos, crush them up, open the bag, add all
of your ingredients, shake and eat it right out
of the bag.
My family has always liked shredded cabbage instead
of lettuce for
tacos or

The menu reads like a road trip across America and guests can select from an array
of items, including grilled burgers, gourmet
salads, street
tacos, steaks, seafood and house favorites.
For each
taco, place a warm tortilla on a plate, add a few chunks
of fish, drizzle with either the coconut or the sweet chilli sauce, a spoonful
of salad, then some creamy sauce and more chilli sauce.
Of course, this duo is delicious together, but can also be made and served individually — for example, the fish is also excellent in lettuce - wrap
tacos and the warm Brussel sprouts
salad makes the perfect seasonal side dish to bring to a potluck or Thanksgiving dinner..
So far I've made the Potato Leek Soup, the Rosemary Chicken
Salad with Avocado and Bacon, and
of course these
tacos; all fantastic.

I used a similar recipe (Ani Phyo's) tonight but didn't want it so nut heavy so I used brocolli stems as I forgot I had a head
of brocolli in thefridge which was well past its best BUT it made a great
taco meat with a small amount
of walnuts to top a plain
salad.
That said, we filled the kitchen island with a bounty
of fresh lettuce, cherry tomatoes, black beans, tortilla chips, salsas, and the most buttery - tasting California avocados I have ever had in my life, then each went to town concocting our own custom
taco salad.
Our dinner rotation is usually sauteed seafood
of some kind with probably toast one night, some variation
of pasta with garlicky rabe another night (adding sausage, using kale or whatever green we have, wuteva), black bean
tacos, and
salad with all
of the leftover veggies and either tuna
salad on top or roasted chicken.
