What powers
of prenatal yoga have you discovered through practicing or

Prenatal yoga teaches forms
of breathing that can help alleviate heartburn and morning sickness, help the mother push and / or control the urge to push during labor and delivery, connect with the baby once hearing is developed, even incorporate into nursing after the birth to the benefit
of both mom and baby.
There are many myths out there about what you can and can not do during pregnancy, and because I
teach both
prenatal and postnatal
yoga, I spend a lot
of time myth - busting and
teaching mamas how to tune into their maternal instincts to figure out what is and is not good for their baby and body.
This is why
prenatal yoga was developed: To provide specialized instruction and therapeutic application
of yoga to ensure pregnant women are
taught in a way that considers the risks, benefits, and alternatives
of every pose.
The next level is RYT 500, in which a teacher adds 300 extra hours
of training that could include special topics such as back care, restorative
yoga,
prenatal training, Ayurveda, or therapeutics, for example, plus 100 hours
of actual
teaching.
