of the Furious» from F. Gary Gray («Straight Outta Compton»), but neither truly feel like they'll make a dent come
awards season.
The black
horse contender is Chris Pine for Hell or High Water, which is shaping up to be something
of an underdog come this
awards season.
And because
of A24's canny distribution strategy, the film is getting a glossy December 8 rollout — after earning rapturous reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival — and being positioned as an
awards -
season dark
horse.

of marketing play you better start getting used to because with Oscar recognition now under his belt, and having show off his range in both «Cyrus» and the
awards season horse «Moneyball,» there are going to be plenty more opportunities outside
of comic roles for Jonah Hill and it looks like he's striking while the iron is hot.
