The French
striker has been limited to the bench so far this term, but has severely impressed when being brought
on, although I'm sure there are still plenty
of Gunners who would like to see Olivier replaced or
bettered in the coming windows.
Come to think
of it, if not having a proven
striker and very rich bench has been hindering the club from clinching major trophies all these years, sincerely, it baffles me why the club is bent
on not trying to risk getting
good and enough players, if not for anything, for the sake
of seeing what would result from taking such step.
I thought he was goin 2core 3mo until he (makeshift

im not to sure about sterling because im
on the idea to take a
striker first, like lacazette and play in the wing ox, welbeck, walcott, chuba or maybe campbell or wellington (probably i would sell the last one... al
of u try him like a star when he is not younger than campbell and he did nt do anything, for me he is not
on the standard)... BUT u cant said that walcott is the
best winger in the league when he is fit.
goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances like at Monaco i did not criticize him even based
on that you know why?its because he has always not been clinical. The only way a team can improve is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud as the main cf and Welbeck as backup to him.Giroud has done
well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm than
good.Do not use moments to judge a player judge him based
on content.Giroud does not excel in many games than he excels in games. As a main cf you need to be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him for that because every player has his own style.Giroud limitations as a player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his poor finishing which has cost us several times. Not
good enough.His style
of play is ok for us but a
striker who can take
on players and run behind defences very
well would make us very strong and also should be clinical. For Welbeck he needs to works
on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront
of goal too much. For now he is just above average. However he can excel if he works
on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always be a pain in arsenal's neck for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but as the saying goes if you fool me once shame
on you but if you fool me twice shame
on me.Will you let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?
Wenger has no tactics, plays his favourite players over
better players, gives long term contracts to average and injury prone players, hates strong physical players, plays players out
of position, always looking for excuse like refrees and saying other teams played more in pre season, does nt spend money
on players required like if we need
strikers he will buy CAM, waits for other teams to buy top players and signs average
on deadline day, calls accident when we lose, talks cohesion and mental strength when we beat terrible teams and win mickey mouse trophy like Asia cup and community shield.
few weeks back there was an article
on here about injured players coming back and helping at the tail end
of the season; the article was big
on Wilshire and I commented saying Welbeck will be the one I will most look out or because he offers us something different upfront, either as a
striker or
on the wings, I also said Wilshire does not register
on my radar not because he os not
good but simply because we have
better players in his role and he has not been missed one jot....

of sentiments he refused to resign fabregas and song for that he should have been sacked cause there is NO excuse not to sign them also when he sign kim kalstrom injured that was an insult to arsenal fans... wenger should grow up or leave

I am not sold
on him as a winger, and I think he has a LOT
of work to do to be a central
striker, but I like him and I hope he plays
well for someone.
Yes he could be alot
better at finishing, but let's see, maybe we got a new sturridge... What I am mad
on Wenger about is not so much the lack
of a proven
striker to our ranks... No it's that we haven't bought a central defender to cover, but most important, we haven't bought a defensive midfielder, that we need so much!!? Wenger makes the same mistakes over and over, everybody else can see it, just not him... hmm: / but still lets respect him as a man and judge when we are atleast half way into the season... COYG!!!!
He was given
on of the
best strikers in the world and he set up a team who failed to create a single chance for him.

striker) with guys like Hazard, Willian, Schurrle
on the wings who can also score a

Everyone keeps
on with this buy a
striker malarchy but the quality
of striker signing we'd get is tantamount to the Remy's or Falcao's who've done SO
well for Chelsea.
We need
better though but I'm in full 100 % support
of the purchase
of Shkrodan Mustafi and Lucas Perez.Mustafi can help Koscielny now.I've been saying it here time and time again that it's not a world clsss
striker we have needed but a clinical finisher which we have lacked for several seasons and counting.Hopefully this guy puts Giroud where he belongs which is
on the bench.Though a world class
striker is
good what we have lacked is someone who puts the game to bed in clinical fashion but Arsene Wenger has listened to many people to the extent that if he can't get a world class
striker then he can get anyone. If Arsenal had a clinical finisher for some five seasons or so we coulda won the EPL then.Giroud has cost us matches and will continue to cost us matches.Giroud is half decent as someone said here the last time.I expect Perez to be much
better if he can take
on his man and be clinical in front
of goal.
So we may not have any
good news
on a new
striker coming in, but at least we are not going to lose any
of our existing ones either!
Liverpool had a terrible defence but almost won the league because they had the

The question still remains... do we really need Mahrez when we should be putting ALL our efforts into buying in a W / C
striker!!!!! Mahrez is a waste
of money in my opinion when the funs that may
well be spent
on him could or should be added to whatever has been set aside to buy a key
striker.
He's become one
of the
best strikers currently in the European game and to have a player
of his quality
on board leading the attack at Arsenal would be a fantastic move for the club.
Would it not be a
good idea to have him play as our main
striker, whereby he can be useful in converting more
of our chances
on a regular basis?
The only regret is we have lost a
good chant for a
striker who was / is never prolific and went through too many barren spells with his goal scoring. While the Chavs put more and
better crosses into the box (yes take note Bellerin) Giroud has no pace to get
on the end
of most
of them.No great loss as far as I'm concerned and
good money for a bench player at
best
It is a massive blow for the
striker as
well, especially coming
on the back

The
best thing to happen over the next week from an Arsenal fan's point
of view would be for the manager
of the Chile national team to err
on the side
of caution and not play our
striker Alexis Sanchez in their World Cup qualifier and for the former Barcelona star to arrive back in London with a clean bill
of health.
It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up
on a squad that has a
striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead
of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend
on doing what was necessary to get the
best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes
of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the players around him and we all know who is in charge
of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
Giroud is tied
on three with Bale, Payet and Morata but the Spaniard's tournament is over and with the Arsenal
striker leading the line for France who are now scoring freely I think he has a
good chance
of finishing
on top.

I just don't know what's wrong with Arsenal fans.Sure I get it as humans we all have our preferences but things start to look funny when we begin to bash and criticize a player like he's useless.I just don't get why Arsenal fans do nt want Vardy.Oh is it because he's not world class, he's English, He's not a big name, he's a fairy tale, you feel all he does is run, he's not got a
better history in footballing until now or you feel Giroud is
better or what?I really pity Arsenal fans honestly.I would've taken Jamie Vardy in a heartbeat.Sure he's not the
best option out there. But I'll say this and say it again it's not a world class
striker that wins you a league but rather just increases your chances
of winning the league. If you've watched Arsenal clearly from the time since Henry left you realized that it's more
of not being able to find a clinical
striker.Eduardo was not a already a finished product when he started his career here yet he was clinical and was
on world class form until injury. What Arsenal need now is a world class finisher if they can't get a world class
striker.
If Wenger could sign a couple
of big name players who play their football in similar positions, such as the Leicester and Algeria attacking star Riyad Mahrez and the Lyon and France
striker Alexandre Lacazette, would you be happy to see Walcott and Giroud join the Hammers or should we hang
on to one or both as
well?
He showed in pre season that he a
good finisher, but you can't judge him
on one match, i say give him ten matches to adjust, he can play as the main
striker or with giroud
on the let or right
of the.
OT: My wishes: — Wenger to stop playing Mert ahead
of Gab... this is a must — Wenger being ruthless and stop being stubbornness «big wish» — Wenger to change his transfer policy «big wish as
well» — Not count
on very injury prone players (Wilshere, Walcott, Ox, Welbeck), take them only as a bounce because they would never stay fit... It is a dilemma because they are all quality home grown players, so I can not say «get rid
of them all» — Give our smart attacking players (Sanchez, Cazorla, Ozil) what they need, a
striker... that is a must — Strengthen the flank with another quality because all the sights now
on Sanchez — Get rid
of useless team players (Campbell, Flamini, yes they are useless) and replace them with
better players (promote or buy
good ones)-- Loan Chamber... 16M is too much to ruin
d term» world class» is used loosely... giroud is a
good striker but showed y he can't b trusted as our no9... missed easier chance but still scored... don't care if u sai he's not
good enough but since he plays for AFC, I'll cheer him
on for France 24/7... when he's at arsenal, plays like a donkey and he turns to s ** troud, then I'll change my tune... OT, did u see pogba??? believe he has gotten carried with d hype «golden boy
of France»....
