I love oats and brown sugar together and the combo
of raisins and
dried blueberries and
dried cranberries really make these cookies «da bomb».
I'm
really not a
dried fruit fan, and so many store bought granolas are full
of raisins or
cranberries — I am always picking around them.
When you top these pancakes with the white sauce, a sprinkling
of powdered sugar, and some
dried cranberries, it makes them
really festive (like snow)!
1 orange, juiced 1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar or sherry vinegar 1/2 cup
really good olive oil, divided 2 tsp salt, divided 5 large carrots, peeled and diced 2 large celery stalks, diced 4 large onions, chopped finely 4 shallots, chopped finely 1/2 cup
dried cranberries 1/2 cup
dried raisins 1/4 cup sunflower seeds 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds 1/4 cup pine nuts 1 bunch
of chives
And as much as I love dark chocolate with all my heart (because
really, it will forever be the best kind
of chocolate), sweet and creamy white chocolate is another perfect match for those tangy - sweet
dried cranberries, and one that just screams Christmas to me.
Your idea
of substituting the marshmallows with nuts and
dried cranberries sounds
really good.
You can
really play around with different additives such as toasted almonds or hazelnuts in place
of the walnuts, or using
dried cranberries, apricots, or dates in place
of the figs.
The addition
of the desiccated coconut adds a light pleasant aroma and
really goes well with the
dried cranberries.
The apples and
dried cranberries really add an interesting dimension
of flavor!
I
really really want to try making these, but with fresh
cranberries instead
of dried... do you think that would work?
And to make it
really say «holiday,» replace the Parm with blue cheese crumbles and toss in a a handful
of dried cranberries or cherries for a beautiful pop
of color and another burst
of tart and sweet.

of my favorite things on an end table, glass bottles & Ball jars (filled with water &
cranberries during the holidays), tea cups,
really anything I feel is pretty & makes me happy to look at.
