I think
if LACAZETTE can keep this up, he's going to claim a place in the french world cup squad next year, his goal scoring instinct is sharp, he knows he won't get too much chances and makes use
of the
few ones he gets and he was unluncky not to have scored against chelsea and his header wasn't a fluke, he knew where the post were and he directed the ball, he will be handful for defender when our complete squad starts and luckily for us he's not an injury prone
player, having him, Sanchez (
if he stays), Giroud and Ozil fit will be vital for us this season and i see plenty
of goals..

I doubt

Truth is, once a manager's future is somewhat in doubt, the
players kinda take their foot

It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring
players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very
few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead
of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in
if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes
of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the
players around him and we all know who is in charge
of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
If a
player shoots up your board this time
of year, a
few things may have gone wrong within your scouting department:
Every sport book today is computerized, Back in my day money always moved the line
if a
player was respected, and
if the squares tossed enough money on a game most books would move the line a little, However the big books would just sit and even take layoffs from the small stores, They knew even
if the squares got hot in the end the juice would eat em up.Gone are the days when Billy Walters and his crew would move the line 3 and 4 points, I'm talking sides not totals, Forget about what they did to the horseshoe with totals in the NBA, Back then you could catch small non computerized stores with bad lines to begin with, imagine a three point move and the small store or corner bookie is off on the line a
few points to begin with, I could catch some game with 6 and seven point advantages, with computers today
if you can catch a half or one point advantage your lucky.Even
if you know the group moving the line most
of these store move the lines on air, when I say air they just watch the screen from D.B. And move the line before they even get hit, Hell even the big stores have the sharps on small limits per call.
So
if they have 8,9,10,11 etc.
players and the other team has more we will start with the number
of the team with the
fewer players.

If we can stay off injuries to key
players — Maintain our compactness and our found solidity in defense — Having a good golie has Oooospina has so far shown — No complacency in games — Keep bagging in those goals (goals wins games)-- Get rid
of some ageing / underperforming
players in the summer — Recruiting a
few more for an even improved squad, and — Continuous improvement to our academy
To name a
few additional struggles: we have to compete with the richest league in the world where every team has money and isn't begging for transfers
of their best
players to fund themselves (8/20
of the highest valued teams), we have a poor injury record that is being addressed, we have far
fewer homegrown talents in our league, the overall league quality is higher even
if the highest teams are not
of the quality
of other top teams, selling
of our best
players during the past decade has lead to a lack
of momentum and yes, there has been times where our manager got it wrong.
Considering we have made money outside
of selling
players I would say AFC can afford Auba and as we have no EPL football for a
few days, why not make a quick lower bid and go straight back in with a better bid instantly
if the lower one failed?
When we were asking Wenger to spend big to buy Lacazette some
few seasons back people said he is not proven on the big stage yet and that he was in the French League.Today, we are in a similar situation and we are going to bid a whooping # 50 for a
player who'll probably be benched
if Sanchez stays and take up the leading role
if he leaves.Whrre's the sense in all this?Probably, long term he might be worth it but as
of now he ain't.
Dream summer: no injuries; get rid
of a
few players not in the picture; trade Szczesny for Lloris or Cech; find a talented young CB (none
of the ones we are linked to excite me much except Howedes and Varane, and I don't like our odds on them — also unnecessary unless we get rid
of one or Chambers isn't going to play there); Kongdobia or Schniederlin (
if an offer
of 35 + mil comes in for WIlshere, sell and buy BOTH); Lacazette (Dybala looks great, but he is not a great goalscorer and I believe Arsene would turn him into a winger primarily — so, I'd still get him, but not as high a priority as the rest).
We have a deep squad
if fit and a
few additions are needed just to complete the whole squad in general but i think we all forget who we are... we are The Arsenal, we make

of 25, Bobby Hull has enthralled the casual hockey fan, the nonfan and the fanatic fan as

Very
few players have been capable
of being the héroes
of both club and country in crucial moments (Zidane, Maradona... and maybe one or two more, hell not even Pele was able to do it in a big club, and please lets not argue about
if Santos was a big club or not).
However for a
player who has no guarantee
of fitting into Arsenal's style
of play, a
player who has only really come to form in one season and a
player who will only have a
few more years left in his professional career, it raises the question
if Wenger should really spend # 20 million on Vardy or splash out # 10/15 million more on one
of the world's biggest stars.
And you would need to sharpen your pencil a
few times
if you sat down to write out all the
players drafted in 1 - 7 who never amounted to much
of anything in the NFL.
Sam P is an example
of someone who can not see the way we as fans are being treated Year after year there is another excuse
of why not to spend We have to pay for the stadium There are no better
players out there We would disrupt the squad by buying to many And now we have to sell first????? YOU as fans have a voice only this time don't stop after a
few crappy wins Don't go to the ground don't buy merchandise and let's see
if we can stop the money train
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch
of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all
of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because
of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured
player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention
of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a
few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury,
if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average
players who couldn't make any
of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average
players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure
of this club to provide him with the necessary
players up front, minus Sanchez
of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Contrary to popular beliefs, the last two games have shown that we're a level above what we were for the past several seasons and can definitely win the league this season
if we iron out a
few issues such as, team selection, gelling
of new
players and tactics.
But
if you can be one
of the
few players on a good European team the money (along with the perqs) can beat anything most 25 year olds will earn in the U.S.
Also my understanding is that
if we keep Alexis and Ozil we need to make a big reduction in salaries because
of not wanting to breach Premier League wage control rules, so quite a
few players need to be sold or released.
I just can't believe that we have become a joke we always start the season well then have a bumpy December and by the time Feb comes our form has taken a dip and we get kicked out
of all competitions except for that valuable top 4 that the board loves so much... ultimately
if Arsenal want to compete again we need changes from the bottom up... Kroenke and his board need to go cause clearly for them profits matter more than trophies... Wenger needs to go for his lack
of tactical naus guy has been using the same fornation since I was in high school and I'm doing my honours in accounting now... our medical team must all go our
players always get injured and they never come back in time (take a look at Santi)
players like Coquelin Theo Mesut Gabriel Gibbs Giroud just to name a
few need to go they're just not good enough seriously these
players lack fight tactical Discipline and tactical awareness... at the end
of the day change needs to happen things can't keep going like this for us....
I think you're right... give these
players to a decent manager, and they'll definitely play better...... and
if you pay attention to the pattern, our new
players perform well in their first
few games, and then their confidence as well as level
of performance start to dwindle once they're well familiar with wenger's system.......

if things aren't in favour

few Arsenal fans excited at the potential the young Beckham has knowing

It might not be a natural thing for the midfielder to do but he gets into some brilliant positions and
if he can start to finish a
few of them off then it will help the team and also make it harder for the opposing
players to guess what he will do.
its not like you turn on the button on a conveyor belt and you play consistent all your carer, there are only a
few players around the world that can play consistently and you can count them on your fingers on your two hands, lets not forget when Aaron was playing well there was interest from all the top clubs
if he was consistent
player he probably would
of been sold to cash in on him by his agent and club
