Before you put the bars in the oven push down on the bars as hard as you can with the back of a measuring cup (rub the back
of a measuring cup with some oil so is does not stick to the bars) before baking and then again after they come out of the oven.
Honey and golden syrup are very sticky, so before measuring, spray the inside
of the measuring cup with a non stick cooking spray or use a mild flavored oil.
lol I have a little less than one cup of flax seed meal (AND, it's not golden either) do you think it would come out ok if I fill the remainder
