Top Notch
strikers ARE a rarity
now, far more than they were in the golden days
of Thierry Henry ET AL. however they DO still exist albeit in a much rarer form, and this makes them more expensive that Arsenal and more specifically the fans

striker and if they are worth it ect??

im not Theos biggest fan but the way hes being treated right
now i wouldn't be surprised if he left.Against Hull, Wenger played a central midfielder Ramsey on the wing insted
of Walcott, then when he brought Ramsey off he brought on another central midfielder Wiltshere, he only brought on Walcott lfor Giroud. If your Walcott what would you be thinking? Those
of us who understand the way we play with 1 up
top kow that Theo will never be our regular
striker because he doesn't have the necessary skills. His only real postion is on the right either as an inside right or an out an out winger. The fact he doesn't track back alot may be reason why Wenger does nt start him, but even so he must be fi.
Now, I know we can do better than better than giroud but right now I don't think we have a better option right now and the earlier we get giroud playing and in top form the better, alexis is not a striker, and while come with a lot of optimism watched many of his goals and he doesn't seem to dominate the defenders, he runs into spaces to finish I strongly believe he won't find himself in similar situations so often in arsenal but rather will find himself fighting big bullying defende

I have been reading comments
of fans on here, especially those who have chosen to appreciate the average in ability that a
striker like giroud possess, my question for ya all is, when did arsenal become a team so low on profile to sing praise
of a
striker who no one can rank among the
top 3
striker in the league, I have seen an arsenal team with a striking force with players like, anelka, Wright, Henry, v persie, no one can rank giroud or whatever his name is in the category
of my mentioned
strikers.we all have got to face it, giroud is not good enough to be leading the attack
of a team dreaming
of winning the league, and Henry is right saying arsenal can't win the league with giroud as our
striker,,, check this out, man u won league titles with
strikers like Rooney, van nisteroy, v persie, man city won with aguero, Chelsea with drogba and
now Costa, giroud stand no chance against any
of those.let's stop appreciating mediocrity, wenger should get us a good
striker as giroud is damn too average for arsenal

top of the fact that Lewandowski does not want to leave

The brightest spot for the club is
of course the meteoric rise

After all there can be no doubting that Tottenham
now have a fantastic squad and a great manager who should help them make a dent on the
top six whereas work at pushing Newcastle United up the ladder is still ongoing however i do think this is just crazy paper talk, i am not sure he is the type
of striker Ramos is looking for and it appears to be a deal Tottenham aren't even considering so the Sunday Express (Where this story appears to have originated from) probably made up the story in the first place!
Arsenal need new direction
Now not next year because if Arsenal fall out
of the
Top four which I think will happen if they don't sign a
Top Class
Striker it will be very hard to brake back into a Champions League Place.
Has Ozil been sold the line that Arsenal
now have funds to buy
top players, is he expecting a
top striker to convert more
of the chances he creates?
We can't win the league (and we will have trouble making it in the
top 4 this season) without a prolific
striker.Alexis might become a good
striker for arsenal but as
of now he is not ready.
Walcott is centre - forward because Wenger failed to get a
striker by deadline day because
of his nauseating incompetence at haggling or paying what teams ask for... and so far Walcott is proving what I have said for seasons
now, he is not a centre - forward at the standard required for
Top 4 clubs with high ambitions, pots
of cash, high capacity stadiums.
Let's be honest, not signing a
top striker is just yet another mistake

Mersin for manager lol He said the fans pay a lot
of money
now go and spend that money on a
top striker
Buying
now will not solve the problem — its too late to find any quality in the market; To win the league we needed a world class cb and
striker and I am talking
of the
top top players!
I think the reason why maybe half the fans (included me) are not convinced
of Giroud as our first CF is that we as club are or used to be very depended on our CF to win as games and some how have tradition for
strikers to thrive in Arsenal (Atletico Madrid are really good at that) even though they where not world class when bought (unlike Chelsea apart from Drogba and
now Costa) With the midfield we have
now someone like Bony would compete for
top scorer.
If, at the end
of the window, Monsieur Wenger has refused yet again to bring in a very decent
striker, even as it's
now very clear to anybody with any little football consciousness that we desperately need a
top striker, then we will stop seeing Arsene Wenger as a manager who is simply stubborn.
Nice article... I used to be one
of those staunch Wenger fans through the years... I used to believe he is superior than Sir Alex, because with almost nothing to spend and playing with kids, he managed to keep us up there every year... I was really caught up with that half season wonder we used to show... In the summer 2013, him or the board (I don't recall) came out and said we are much stable financially and
now we can fight with the biggest bullies, I got my hopes high, I thought we are definitely signing a
top striker and DM, that what we need... What happened, only hours before the window closed we managed to sign a
top AMF (remember we have our best player for the season 2012 - 2013 was AMF, Cazorla if you remember), I was really depressed seen Giroud leading the line every match... then comes winter window, and we were right there
top of the table... My friend send me a poster
of an elephant on a tree, and on the bottom
of it «no one knows how it got there but everybody knows how it will get down»... I told my friend that we are only one decent
striker far from the gold... and what happened, we signed an old injured DM on loan... That for me was a completely arrogance and stubbornness cost us the league title... There I completely lost the plot with Wenger... I wish yesterday I was with those who raised that banner... I would write in my banner «Enough talks and philosophy, we need results»
Arsenal fans might want to look away
now as hated Tottenham Hotspur
striker Emmanuel Adebayor
tops the list
of scorers in the north London Derby beating the likes
of Gunners legends Robert Pires and Thierry Henry.
