The design similarities
of the Idol 4 are carried over to the chamfered metal sides, with a rather unusual placement

The sheer size
of the Galaxy Note 3 means you'll be constantly shuffling it up and down your palm as you try and reach the

Over on the right side
of the HTC One Mini 2 there's a
volume rocker switch sitting just
below another tray.
The buttons on the right side are also metallic, with the placement
of the power button

volume rocker making it very to reach.
The

below, again in an easy to reach position, while towards the base
of the handset you'll find the dedicated shutter key which provides a shortcut to the camera app as well as a way to snap pictures underwater.
Samsung has thankfully gone with a
volume rocker instead
of individual keys, and
below it there's a new button dedicated to its inchoate AI assistant, which it calls Bixby.
The right side
of the Storm is home to two clicky, but rather thin and weedy buttons — the
volume rocker, and the power button just
below.
Bixby is Samsung's new virtual assistant, and it gets a dedicated button
below the
volume rockers on the left
of the devices.
Around the edges
of the Z1 we see the circular power button and small
volume rocker on the left hand side,
below a covered SIM card slot.
Despite the slab - like design, the Ascend P7 feels good, and with the power button being on the side just
below the
volume rocker, you can just about one - hand this thing a lot
of the time.

That being said, if you take a look at either
of those cases, you'll notice that the rumored / leaked «Bixby» button is placed
below the
volume rocker of the Samsung Galaxy S8.
Looking around the device, the
volume rocker and the power button are found on the right side
of the device, while there is a SmartKey button to the right (more about it
below), and all buttons are very responsive, easy to press, and offer a good amount
of tactile feedback.
On the right you'll find a beautifully textured metal power button, with the
volume rocker placed
below and just above the center point
of the phone, while the left side
of the device holds only the single - SIM card tray.
LG has been putting both the
volume and lock buttons on the back
of their devices for a few years now, but it seems that they are going to move them to the side in the form
of a
volume rocker seen
below.
The
volume rocker right
below it and the dedicated camera shutter button at the bottom
of the right side don't leave a lot
of room to comfortably rest your thumb on this side
of the device though.
Most
of the design elements remain unchanged, and there are also some welcome additions such as the ability to use the phone upside down and program the «Now Key»
below the
volume rocker to perform an array
of different actions and open whatever application you'd like.
Signature elements
of the design make a return, with the big silver power button found on its side, with the
volume rocker and dedicated camera shutter button found
below it.
Taking a look around the device, the power button is on the right side
of the cylinder, with a notification LED ring around it, and
below you'll find the microUSB port and the
volume rocker.
The Xperia U moves the power button to the top right side
of the phone, with the
volume rocker and camera shutter button spaced evenly
below it.
The viewable screen is 12.6 x7cm which gives the notional diagonal imperial measurement
of 5.8 inches.On the right side are the on / off button and
below that the
volume rocker.
Below the screen, you can see three touch buttons, a physical power button on the right, with a
