Ei for arsenal the next game is always a panic station because
of one or two things. However i am always scared
when i see a certain three
players in the team. They are not supposed to be there yet keep being there.I do not want to mention names but just start from the defense to the
attack and you might know them.By the way i hope Walcott plays we need someone like him to be inform because he can really help us.
I disagree.A wingback can be viewed as a defensive winger.Whether the Ox likes it or not he's been blessed with the qualities
of a winger. To me that's his best position. He's only doing well as a wingback because
of his
attacking abilities. As I said earlier a wingback can be viewed as a sort
of defensive winger. That's why CB's who are used as RB or LB can not play wingback.Wingback needs the
player to be able to adapt himself like a winger while also being solid defensively.Ox has the
attacking part but not the defensive part. With Bellerin we have the best
of both worlds.He can
attack, defend and also has the speed necessary to play wingback.I fear Ox being played at wingback will cost us
when we play teams with tricky wingers. He should rather be challenging Sanchez or Ozil for their positions and not wingback. The guy hates to always have to defend which in truth he can't.
Palmer was one

But I had the enjoyment
of seeing youngsters flourish into world beaters - not anymore I had the beautiful
attacking football to compensate for the lack
of trophies - wengerball no more I had that smugness
when a signing was mocked but turned into a world beater - we spend over the odds on decent
players and seem to tell ourselves «they need time» Wenger needs to go, what I listed above was supposed to in some way highlight what made him great.
And once again, this DMF myth

Of course it would be silly to suggest that winning any game, cup or otherwise, isn't good for the club, but let's remember just how problematic FA Cup success has been for this club... I'm certainly not going to suggest I didn't enjoy seeing Arsenal win, I'm a fan of this club first and foremost, but how bad are things when you find yourself secretly wishing that your own team lost so that just maybe real change would finally come... They have to revert to 4 -4-2 and start fast counter
attacking instead
of possession and short passing game... Now
when ever Arsenal
players get possession, they slows down the game until the opposite box gets crowded and loses the ball inside the box....

when such contact is initiated outside
of the goal crease, provided the

All
attacking players are wasteful not just in front
of goal but even
when passing.
everyone with common sense knows that all the
players will be playing a big part in arsenal challenging for titles except may be our defenders & goalkeeper who will play in all our important games otherwise we will see a lot
of different combinations used in midfield &
attack during the season depending on the opposition or if it, s a cl game to top the group or
when it, s been decided already, a cup game or
when we have to play twice in a week, injuries, loss
of form....
Is Wenger overlooking this area in favour
of attacking players, or does he just have a weakness
when it comes to finding the right type
of defender?
but i don't see him as a cam i see him as a cm, he is not good with his back to goal he's better
when he can see whats in front
of him then drive past
players and play 1 - 2's that start
attacks.
we can play wilsher behind strike cuz
of his creativity and ramsey can pattern with xhaka and
when ramsey is
attacking wilsher can move back to pattern with xhaka ozil and magetaria play on wing and you will have all the smart
players on field
«Or you bring one
of them off and bring on one
of the fastest
players in the Premier League in Theo Walcott, you play him up front and
when the other team
attack, you play on the counter.
the analysis from barton is unreasonable and immature.messi scored from open play bcos he has suarez and neymar to support them who are as talented and EXPERIENCED.while chamberlain and some
players do nt hav that experience or lacks form right now.the
player chamberlain wa
when he was signed, scoring spectacular goals and giving nice crosses, but now his form has been - do nt know wheter its bcos
of low motivation levels or lack
of confidence.so if sanchez had
players as good as himself to support him in

Our
players lost that yard
of pace on Newcastle in the second half — we couldn't reset
when we had the ball, couldn't track the men as tightly and were generally forced back into our own half on the back foot instead
of attacking the ball.
He really must've thought we played well last week to start with the exact same lineup,
when we hardly created chances, even our counter

of our own

So
when you wonder which
players Arsene Wenger should start with in central midfield against the Tigers, a lot
of Arsenal fans might say the most
attacking ones we have available, which would probably be Alex Oxlade - Chamberlain and Alex Iwobi, but I do not think the boss will be that gung ho, especially after being caught out so badly against Watford and then Chelsea.
Our number 11 was largely anonymous once again in the Premier League win over Hull City and that makes it three games in a row
when the

When you have
players like Toure and Aguero the opponent will not even think about
attacking you as much because they would rather defend which essentially hands City control over the majority
of games they play.
The Arsenal played well we had over 70 % position
of the ball with something like 27
attacks were 8 were on target burnly had a game plan and that game plan was about hurting our
players ankles and they got away scot free with it yet xaka gets red?????? Yes they were diddling about
when that happened but compare it to the challenge on ozil and he was on goal yes koscienly came back from an offside position but the high boot on the head was dangerous I thought Arsenal played well and controlled the game well even
when we were put under pressure in our own half
when you look at the penalty awarded to them you will see a dive as coquelin barely touched him how many time did they push kosscielny
of the ball???? hope he is ok as he was looking like he had a thigh problem I like the back four
of todays as Gabriel did ok specially
when we went down to ten men >> > I salute our Arsenal for wining the game on the 97 minit with only 10 men on the field What an iced cold penalty scored by Alexis
So wait a minute. Are Arsenal looking for a defensive midfielder or a box to box
player.I'm really disappointed in Xhaka's defending. He's very good with his long passing but I don't think he's the best option
when it comes to box to box.In Arsenal he's normally used as the defensive midfielder particular deep lying playmaker and this actually means that we need someone who is fantastic at
attacking and can also do very well defensively so as to compliment for Xhaka's defensive short comings.Ludo Goretzka is very good defensively from the little I've seen but I don't really know much about his
attacking qualities. But I also hope Arsenal does not forget about Mario Lemina. He's a complete midfielder and to me has the capabilities to be one
of Europe's best if given the chance. He can defend very well and
attack very well.He's a
player Juventus would regret selling. As for Goretzka I know he's very good defensively but have» t seen much
of him in terms
of attack. If he's as good as in
attack I'd sign him.
It would certainly appear that there is little or no cohesion
when Mustafi is not playing, however the midfield seemed to shut down yesterday and all
of the
attacking players went on the missing list as well.
yea we wanted him here
when we were short
of attacking options (decimated squad and out -
of - form
players then), but
when he got cocky, waved us off and i got to watch him in the emirates cup....
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety
of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style
of play has become a shadow
of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out
of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid
of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can
attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out
of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble
when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes
of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play
of Monreal, but none
of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially
when Giroud was playing and his ratio
of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part
of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap
when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part
of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature
of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out
of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front
of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-
attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that,
of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one
of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one
of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already
of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs
of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack
of mobility is an albatross around the necks
of our offence... so
when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because
of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
On the face
of it, this looks smart business by the Gunners at a time
when there is so much doubt over two
of their best
attacking players in Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
When Bellerin first came into the side he not only defended well but was always so dangerous going forward. His pace and ability to go outside his marker gave us an attacking outlet that allowed us to play without a recognised right sided attacker which coincided with Walcott getting less and less game time.We all thought this boy was going to turn into someone very special and so obviously did the management who apparently renewed his contract on a reputed # 100k per week. What have we seen since then?A player that seems as indecisive and under coached as the rest of the defenders at the club.A player that has rarely delivered a performance that reflected his initial early form.A player whose body language seems to display his displeasure at being at our club when Barcelona reputedly offered # 40m for him in the close sea

When on the pitch, we knew he will make a difference... The defense feels secure, the
attack as well feels free, and he actuallt start those
attack... Xakha doesn't he just pass and run to get a pass, not going forward or making that pass that ma kes a difference or a goal... Useless, but great stats, like our 70 % possession and losing games, he is the leader
of that no sense possession, passing, he does most
of our passes, then runs to get it back to pass it, gets it back because he just passes and
player is stock has to get it back to him... He will be a great journalist pulling stats..
