Since there are so few ingredients, all
of them really came through — a nice smokiness from the chipotle, a little tang from the tomatillos (and you can use
tomatoes if you want; it will just be sweeter), and a slight punch from the
garlic (but not too much, since it's pan
roasted).

all winter long we thaw our jars
of roasted tomato, pepper,
garlic, herbs and onion concoctions and turned them into literally hundreds
of different recipes; soups, pizza sauce, pasta sauce,
tomato sauce, chili, dips, spreads — you name it.
What's in it: 1 lb hot turkey (or chicken) italian sausage 1 small sweet onion (or 1/2 large), finely chopped 1 cup carrots, chopped 1 tablespoon italian herbs 2 cloves
of garlic, finely minced 2 14.5 oz cans white beans (cannellini), rinsed and drained 2 14.5 - oz cans diced
tomatoes (I used fire
roasted) 3 cups low sodium chicken broth (more or less according to desired thickness) 6 cups roughly chopped kale optional (but encouraged): 1 parmesan rind (I always save the ends
of my parmesan to use in soups.
With chunks
of chuck
roast, browned in bacon fat and cooked with red kidney beans, red chili and chipotle chili, onion,
garlic, jalapeños,
tomatoes, and lime juice.
We served this Easy
Roasted Pork in
Garlic,
Tomato and Paprika Sauce with pickled vegetables, the Romanian style I would say, pickled green
tomatoes for me and mostly gherkins for the rest
of the family.
This easy jar meal is filled with healthy calories, protein from the lentils and quinoa,
roasted veggies, and a good
tomato - y sauce with plenty
of ginger and
garlic.
Take the pan
of roasted garlic and
tomatoes out
of the oven and nestle the cut lemon into the pan.
Brush several
of the toasted baguette slices with the peeled
garlic clove, but only the amount you will use for the
Roasted Cherry
Tomato and Basil Crostini.
2) To make the sauce: In a blender, combine the stemmed,
roasted jalapeño pepper including the seeds, the
tomatoes, onion,
garlic, cilantro, and 1/4 cup (60 ml)
of water.

We made this with a bit
of tomato / basil sauce on the bottom with
roasted garlic strewn about.
And to make this pizza extra special and amazingly delish, we are topping it off with loads
of roasted garlic gloves, sweet cherry
tomatoes, fragrant fresh basil, and then giving it a nice drizzle
of balsamic glaze and extra virgin olive oil.
Herb crusted, or pan seared, this beautifully butterflied dish is decorated with an extensive creation
of charred
tomato puree and is served atop a
garlic parmesan spinach custard with
roasted balsamic radicchio.

of ginger, peeled and grated 1 tablespoon
of ground cumin 2 teaspoons
of curry powder (yellow) 1 teaspoon garam masala 1/4 teaspoon cardamom 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes 1 -28 ounce can
of crushed
tomatoes (I used organic, fire
roasted) 4 cups
of vegetable stock 1 can
of chickpeas, drained 1 can (14 oz.)
- While the squash
roasts, cook the ground beef by placing a medium - size non-stick pan over medium - high heat, and drizzling in about 1 tablespoon
of olive oil; once the oil is hot, add in the onion, and saute for about 2 minutes; next, add in the ground beef and break it up with a spoon / spatula into small crumble; once the beef has slightly browned, add in a couple
of pinches
of salt and pepper, the
garlic, the cumin, the cayenne and the cinnamon, and stir to combine; allow the beef to finish browning, then turn the heat off, and turn the seasoned beef mixture out into a bowl; next, add to the beef the cooked brown rice, the black beans, the quartered cherry
tomatoes, the chopped cilantro, the sunflower seeds and the orange zest, and combine the ingredients very well; add another pinch
of salt if needed, and set the mixture aside for a moment, keeping warm.

Stuffed mushrooms in
tomato curry, fresh mushrooms stuffed with farmer's cheese (Indian paneer) and chopped greens that was seasoned with
garlic and spices, were then
roasted slowly in a dab
of butter and then simmered away in a flavorful
tomato curry.
This flavorful
roasted red pepper soup is a blend
of red peppers,
tomatoes, onions,
garlic and basil.
Add some
of your fav veggies that
roast well — I added grape
tomatoes,
garlic (LOVE
roasted garlic) and some onions (cue caramelised onion flavour).
