Traditional Cooking School is organized into 12 clear, simple modules: Fundamentals
of Traditional Cooking I & II, Sourdough, Cultured Dairy and Cheese, Lacto - Fermentation, Dehydrating, Real Food Kids, Allergy - Free Cooking, Cooking Outside, Einkorn Baking, and Pressure Cooking I & II.
(Many of our students report that this is their favorite part
of Traditional Cooking School.)
One lesson per week works best for most
of our Traditional Cooking School students.Some people do every lesson and every module in order.
Soaking and boiling beans, leavening grains, and heating tomatoes are other good examples
of traditional cooking techniques that may be beneficial.
Microwaves are also very convenient for busy and inexperienced cooks, since they mean less supervision than many types
of traditional cooking.
