I like to refer to this recipe as a mini Thanksgiving — if you're missing all the flavors
of turkey day, but want it to be manageable for two, this is your meal.
That said, I was hell bent on keeping up my Thanksgiving day tradition of working out the morning
of turkey day.
These are a few of my favorite things, just in case you are planning to take advantage
of turkey day sales to turn up that sparkle for holiday parties.
Not exact matches
Here are some
of the perks for your patronage: First, you get a free 16 - to 20 - pound
turkey — fresh, not frozen, from a local farm, just in time for
Turkey Day.
Today, which is FreshDirect's busiest
day of the year, it will deliver many
of the 2,000 fully cooked Thanksgiving dinners and 6,000 uncooked
turkeys that it has sold in recent weeks.
While it most certainly wasn't a great week to be a
turkey it was once again a great couple
of days to be an investor in the healthcare space.
Dan's gotten a taste
of my grumpier side this weekend as I've spent the last three

Among the highlights: getting to know my sisters - in - law better, participating in perhaps the best church service I've been to in years, indulging in Maki Evans» delicious cupcakes gourmet, enjoying an impromptu living room concert from the Beekeepers, seeing more wildlife in one week in New Jersey than I've seen in years in Tennessee (deer, rabbits, foxes,
turkeys, etc.), watching Veggie Tales with my beautiful nephew Will, long morning walks with my mother - in - law, and a Mother's
Day gathering that included half
of the family (which is over fifteen people!).
Tuesday: GF noodles with
turkey meatballs, veggie stir fry, salad, gluten free French bread (make double recipe
of bread, save some for garlic bread / bread sticks for 3 -
day dinners)
My Southwest Chicken Lettuce Cups are the perfect use for leftover
turkey after Thanksgiving or chicken breasts any
day of the year.
I just made my famous chowchow a few
days ago, and I've been using it on everything I could think
of, even hamburgers and smoked
turkey.
During holiday meal preparations, the sauce is started before any

Once I had my cart filled I headed to the front
of the store ready to check out and head home to store all my

They'd pass up a
turkey dinner any
day of the week (or any holiday) for ham.
I needed a recipe that was quick, easy and good for any
day of the week.It starts with ground beef but you can also use ground
turkey.
Then came
days of sparkling wine with St. Germain, evenings
of fresh baked gluten - free sourdough, mornings
of turkey brining... the apples became a bit lost in the shuffle.
My husband's family doesn't care for
turkey so I will have to figure out what kind
of protein I will choose for that
day.

About Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving is such a
day filled with tradition, I'm not sure I'd want a whole different group
of side dishes (as you suggested trying to talk your group into), as it just wouldn't seem like Thanksgiving (it'd just be another meal with
turkey).
Then I realized there was a jar
of yellow split peas in the pantry, and 5 cups
of homemade
turkey stock in the fridge — Oh Happy

In recent
days I've sent him an over ripe banana, stale pretzels, and the container
of left - over smoked
turkey meat instead
of the smoked
turkey sandwiches I had made for him.
That was one
of the best
turkeys I've ever eaten, by the way, but felt like it took all
day to make.
