The key is to use a small amount
of turmeric and ginger; less is more here.
I've been recommending the powdered root

In a frying pan sauté garlic,
ginger and onions in coconut oil push to one side

of minutes, stirring consistently

and roughly chopped 1/4 cup fat free Greek Yogurt 1 lime 1/2 cup diced tomatoes 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
500 gm chicken, cut into medium pieces 1 tsp ghee 400 gm onions, thinly sliced (almost 6 medium onions) 2 medium tomatoes, chopped 2 green chillies, chopped 1 1/2 tsp
ginger paste 1 1/2 tsp garlic paste 1 tbsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 2 tbsp cashew nuts, soaked in 1/4 cup
of water for 30 minutes
and ground to paste 1/2 tsp garam masala Coriander leaves for garnish Salt to taste
To capture the rich flavors
of Morocco, the sweet potato
and chickpeas are tossed in a blend
of cinnamon, immune - boosting
ginger, paprika, cumin
and turmeric, which is a powerful anti-inflammatory.
I made something like this a few days ago... I added chopped tomatoes to the lentils while they cooked, blended that
and added coconut milk, lots
of mashed
ginger & garlic, cumin,
turmeric, carrots & spinach.
Just in my fruit smoothie I mix 1 cup fresh spinach, 1 tablespoon fresh
ginger,
turmeric, prunes, flaxseed meal, 1/4 cup fresh carrots, 5 lge strawberries
and 1/2 cup blueberries I mix it with a cup
of water.
