The recipe gives you the option
of using chocolate chips or dried fruit.
I recommend using an 85 % dark chocolate and chopping it instead
of using chocolate chips in this dairy free ice cream.
I also chop up a 70 or higher percent chocolate bar instead
of using chocolate chips.
I just made these, instead
of using chocolate chips I used 100 % raw cacao powder.

of using chocolate chips, I added 1/8 cup of ground oatmeal, and 1/8 cup of ground unsweetened shredded coconut.

This
chocolate dip really is darkly, richly, decadently chocolaty just
using regular old semi-sweet
chips, and it has a great balance
of deepness and sweetness to go along with fruit dippers.
Then when you're ready to make your frosting, you only
use the fat from the coconut milk, melt it together with a bag
of chocolate chips (I
used dairy free ones), add a little vanilla and salt to taste and stick it in the fridge to re-solidify until ready to
use.
We made some more this weekend, but
used chocolate chips instead
of blueberries this weekend!

I just made
chocolate chip cookies with almond flour — love the idea
of using almond butter!
While browsing, one
of the recipes I found was a
chocolate chip cookie recipe that
uses vanilla pudding mix.
I
used one banana because it was the only thing on hand and I added a few tbsps
of skim milk for a bit more moisture.I even threw in some mini
chocolate chips for a nice twist.

used a mixture
of all - purpose flour and bread flour for a chewier crumb.
I'd probably just
use cacao nibs in place
of the

of always making banana

using the base from my Oreo Truffles in its place.
