I love buying a bunch
of local berries and freezing most
of them to
use in making
smoothies all winter.
All
of my favourite fruits are constantly
used in your recipes,
smoothies, etc. — but I've noticed a lack
of many fruits.
I recommend throwing a chunk
of these brownies to your
smoothie or layer
in a parfait glass with ice cream made from Ella's recipe or as I do — I make mine
in the ice cream machine
using full fat coconut milk instead
of cream and traditional milk..
I love
smoothies but find if I
use too many servings
of fruit that the high sugar content makes me hungrier later on
in the day.
I must admit I not a big fan
of eating oat groats
in their sold form (
in a cereal); however, maybe through this
smoothie I can still get my daily dose
of oats through oat milk =) Unfortunately I can not find any fresh figs
in the farmer markets these days, nevertheless, I got myself an extra load
of raspberries and blackberries, so I shall
use those as a substitute for the time being.

Yes I have them
in my
smoothie in the morning, you don't have to
use them all everyday — I mix them up and have about a spoon
of each and then I have spirulina every day.
It's an easy vegetable to incorporate into your diet, I add it to my
smoothies and juices
in the morning,
use it raw as the base
of my salads, blend it into dips and sauté or steam it for quinoa, rice and pasta bowls.
I live
in England and have not heard
of some
of the staple ingredients you often
use e.g. cacao powder, tahini and acai
in your
smoothies.

of course that's a legitimate question — I don't put grapes
in smoothies as much as other fruits simply because they're not as nutritionally dense and I just tend to mostly cook with the fruits which I love the taste
of — but that the great thing about the recipes, and especially
smoothies, you can
use it as a guide to add things you have
in the fridge or whatever so I'm so glad you're adding different things!

in Folate, Calcium and Iron.
I've been enjoying both the Four Sigma Foods Chaga and Reishi «instant mushroom beverages», just prepared with hot water as a tea as I find the flavour really pleasant (especially with a slice
of fresh ginger), but you can blend the powders into
smoothies and
use them
in baking, cooking and raw recipes.

use it raw, no cooking: Oat pudding, oat cream, a slew

And if you are against having a leftover half
of a banana, feel free to

It's not like I'm sitting at home and wishing I could
use cow's milk instead
of almond milk

I wanted to make some Coconut Tapioca cookies (Kanom Ping), but I didn't have any coconut milk — but I did have a jar

The color may depend on the kind

use — I always buy frozen dark sweet cherries at Whole Foods (even though they're called sweet cherries, there's no sugar added) because I love to put them

use of an ingredient that is too often ignored

of a latte than a
smoothie, so I may try to
use frozen coconut milk ice cubes
in it instead for a more «
smoothie» texture.
However, if you prefer your
smoothies on the sweeter side, I'd suggest
using the Brasilia Blueberry or Sumatra Dragonfruit
in place
of the Ipanema Pomegranate — OR, add a little extra stevia or honey to the mix.
Soak 12 oz
of coarsely ground coffee
in 60 ounces
of cool water for 12 hours, drain through a filter and enjoy an incredibly strong but amazingly smooth coffee that you can
use as a concentrate — you'll
use less
in a
smoothie like this since a little goes a long way flavor wise.
Your mix
of pea protein (I have only
used mine
in smoothies) and flour is a great idea.
I don't
use bananas a lot
in smoothies since I feel like they're
used way too often
in most
smoothie recipes, but they do go perfectly
in this
smoothie and don't overpower the taste
of the rest
of the ingredients.
I
used to freeze them for
smoothies in the summer, I should do that again but never think
of smoothies when it's cold.
Add it fresh to greens drinks and
smoothies,
use it instead
of lettuce
in your salad or sauté it with some garlic, onions and a squeeze
of lemon and you'll get a healthy dose
of protein along with the iron and vitamin content that it's better known for.
If you choose not to
use the Weight Watchers recipe builder to calculate your
smoothie PointsPlus (
in which case the banana is free) then the
smoothie is 4 points + instead
of 7.

Today after a FEW MONTHS
of using this product
in daily
smoothies, I noticed a mealworm - like bug emerging from the chia
in the jar, and finally put two and two together.
I have purchased this cinnamon a few times now and routinely
use a heaping teaspoon
of it every morning
in my Paleo
smoothie.
Our easy to
use one - by - one droplet system also lets you control exactly how much
of your favourite flavour you add to
smoothies, powders, coffees and everything
in - between.
If you're gonna make a «nicecream» or a
smoothie bowl then always make sure you
use the less sugary fruit, and always ALWAYS add
in a decent fat and protein source for a more complete bowl
of nutrition.
I love the idea
of using coffee flavored yogurt
in a
smoothie — especially when it's added into a
smoothie with even more coffee.
You can also
use the peanut powder
in a
smoothie or muffins, and feel free to try the figs
in my Fig «n» Apple Pie Spice Muffins or your favorite energy ball recipe
in place
of dates.
When I see a
smoothie this bright I just know that there are lots
of berries mixed into it, and the brilliant thing about
using them as a base is that if you don't have fresh ones on hand — just throw
in some frozen berries instead.
I
used the rest
of the sachet (it makes 2)
in a
smoothie bowl for something different as well!
Try
using in place
of your usual chocolate powder
in smoothies, desserts and coffee, or on its own as a hot drink.
