of vacation outfit planning.
I did however, take time to document a few
of my vacation outfits to share!
I am finally posting the first
of my vacation outfits.
Not exact matches
From their first day
of school until summer
vacation returns, dress your little one for success with classic styles
of school shoes for kids made for uniforms or to put those finishing touches on their
outfits.
Maybe it's chocolate, a photo
of a
vacation, or your favorite
outfit.
This dress reminds me
of the sunset, and asides from a Spring wedding
outfit, it would also be great for long walks on the beach on a Caribbean
vacation.
I adore the
outfits, but most
of all I'm glad you've had an amazing
vacation.
I think selecting
vacation outfits are definitely part
of the fun in planning a trip, don't you?
Plan your
vacation clothing carefully, and add an extra
outfit just in case you get invited somewhere elegant, such as a five - star restaurant or a premiere
of a theater performance.
As you all know I took a little holiday getaway right before Christmas (you can see my first
outfit from my
vacation here) but
of course I couldn't leave you without a cute swimsuit look!
When going shopping for your
vacation, you will have to find clothes you can mix instead
of planning each
outfit.
I think one
of the trickiest parts
of packing for world travel is to find
outfits that travel nicely (read: don't wrinkle too easily — who wants to iron on
vacation?)
I wore this
outfit on our last night
of vacation when we took a boat out on the Calibogue Sound for some sightseeing.
Tina
of @tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com linked up an adorable post on how she took a half
vacation day off from work to relax by getting a one hour massage and pedicure, while including her cute work
outfit and vintage accessories.
This simple
outfit would work for class,
vacation sightseeing, a casual date — it's comfy and cute, yet still has a touch
of polish.

This counted as my most «fancy»
outfit and I wore it (for dinner with friends in Yaletown which was as fancy as our
vacation got) mostly because I wanted to get some use out
of this blazer; I love it, but it was completely unnecessary on this trip.
Instead
of sharing an
outfit this week, I thought it'd be fun to share what I am wearing and taking to the beach on
vacation!
Back to the
outfit: I love my
outfits to be comfortable when I'm on
vacation, especially when I'm doing a lot
of sightseeing.
Often, when I need a new
outfit for an event,
vacation, date night, etc., I'll go out shopping, looking for totally new pieces
of clothing instead
of first heading to my closet to see how I can use what I already have to create a unique look.
Rather than randomly throwing things into the suitcase, I like to create my
outfits ahead
of time — even less to think about when on
vacation.
When I pack for
vacations, I often wear versions
of the
outfits beforehand to test them out!

It's that time
of year when everyone is getting ready for that tropical
vacation and this is the perfect
outfit to take with you.
So I really hope you've enjoyed this week's mini lookbook as it was probably the last big one for a while, I'm done working for the season (well I have a few more days to cover
vacations and such but not as often) so while I'll have more time to blog I won't have as many dressy occasions to be a part
