I am a huge fan
of vegan cheesecake.
Every once in a while I get an idea for a specific type
of vegan cheesecake I want to make.
And let's be real, who doesn't need a stash
of vegan cheesecake bars in the freezer at all times?
I have it so that one serving size is 1/8
of the vegan cheesecake recipe.
One of the best parts
of this vegan cheesecake is the macadamia nut crust.
The idea
of vegan cheesecake is nothing new and we owe it to the brilliant creator who experimented using cashews in place of dairy for that thick and creamy consistency of all that is cheesecake.
And while I've done quite a few iterations
of vegan cheesecake, I have not yet done some summer - friendly popsicles.
Next up, we sprinkle that brittle on top of the cheesecake layer and once all of that is done, the entire tray
of Vegan Cheesecake Brownies is left in the freezer to set for 4 - 6 hours.
Yep, this version
of my vegan cheesecake is drizzled in the most amazing salted caramel sauce.
Merging my love of the matcha tea with
that of vegan cheesecakes, I set out to make this vanilla matcha zebra cheesecake.
I recently started making a bunch
of vegan cheesecakes and that gave me the courage to try making a spicy cashew cheese substitute.
Discard all the mushy cashews or use them something else (perhaps one
of my vegan cheesecakes?)
Not exact matches
I think the zucchini might be in there for extra creaminess and nutrition because some
of the other raw /
vegan cheesecakes I've made use only cashews (no zucchini) so because
of that I know it isn't an essential ingredient in a raw /
vegan cheesecake recipe.
So I thought I would share with you a way you could use it in a recipe if you happen to have some left over, like from one

This
vegan pumpkin
cheesecake is a variation
of the
cheesecake I've been bringing the last few years to my Thanksgiving gatherings.
A couple
of weeks ago, I saw a photo
of some
vegan cheese topped with cranberry sangria sauce, and to me it totally looked like a piece
of cheesecake with cranberry sauce on top.
Once the
Vegan Cheesecake Brownies have set, I trim the edges off (edges always tend to be dry and I have a habit
of throwing them away — entirely up to you!)

of us who are
vegan or allergic to eggs / dairy, Sirabella's makes it possible to enjoy
cheesecake again!
Anyway, I really do think one
of the reasons I put off making cashew based paleo and
vegan cheesecake for so long, is the same reason I haven't yet attempted to make a paleo bagel — fear that it just wouldn't be the same.
I have always had this thing for
cheesecakes, especially in summer, and you've got many
cheesecake recipes on the blog, like the honey lavender
cheesecake, the salted caramel apple
cheesecake, or other
vegan, gluten and lactose free versions such as the
vegan raspberry
cheesecake (a readers» favorite), the raw mango
cheesecake, or the yuzu coconut
cheesecake, to mention just a few
of them.
You could
of course make the brownie base from the cinnamon and berry cake, or you could make a gluten free and
vegan base like in this frozen lychee
cheesecake.
When «Childhood Favourites» was selected as this month's Sweet Adventures Blog Hop theme the aforementioned creations ran through my mind immediately... and in a fit
of not particularly unexpected re-invention, lemon custard ended up on top
of cheesecake and both were made
vegan, soy and refined sugar free.
That's why we'll enjoy a slice
