This mix
of walnut halves and pieces is a combination of light and amber meats.

I did n`t have enough pine so I added some
walnuts and only used
half of the garlic — still enough for my taste.
Second idea,
half - way through the baking sprinkle at least a
half - cup
of chopped
walnuts evenly over the top and with a flat hand press the
walnuts down slightly into the filling.
I used coconut oil instead
of vegan butter in the base, added an extra teaspoon
of vanilla and
half a teaspoon
of chia seeds to the filling, and chopped
walnuts plus seeds to the topping.

I used
