This time I dipped the tops into melted
white chocolate and sprinkled them with gold sanding sugar, before stacking them with the
chocolate hazelnut
cream puffs into a tree - shaped structure supported by a glue made
of basic
white icing.

Now, I get that the glowing green color in the typical carton

cream doesn't really come from a natural green color, but I wouldn't touch the
white (uncolored) varieties with a ten - foot pole.

Pour 1/2 cup
of the
cream over the
white chocolate and microwave it on medium high for 45 - 60 seconds.
Pour in the remainder
of the cold
cream into the now melted
white chocolate mixture.
Melt the
white chocolate and
cream very gently in the microwave (about 45 seconds to 1 minute on medium power); pour or pipe over the edges
of the chilled cake.
The flavour was more lemon zest than lemon juice, with the almost - bitter citrus edge playing well against the muted golden syrup, custard, and clotted
cream notes
of the
white chocolate itself.
I was actually thinking
of making a citrus sorbet for people who want to go the less - rich route... And maybe
chocolate sorbet... Then I'll have
chocolate & vanilla ice
cream, caramel sauce, hot fudge sauce, &
white chocolate sauce.

cream and most importantly
of all I was going to make one large pie, not six individual pasties — I really just didn't have the time to faff around.
Stirred a couple
of tbsp into the
white chocolate, then folded the
white chocolate mixture into the remaining
cream until just combined.
