My accent nails already had two coats
of white polish before I added the glitter, just to make up for any bare spots that might have occurred.
I also painted 2 coats
of a white polish as a base underneath so that these bright colors would show up.
On
top of the white polish I used a thin coat of my Pro-FX top coat and proceeded with acrylic paints, painting on a peach, pink and purple shade and blending them through to create the acrylic - gradient for my sky.
For neons, they're pretty high - quality; you get great coverage and huge color payoff without a
lot of white polish.
It was a lot of work; first I needed three
coats of white polish to make a underwear layer without any bald spots (I still had some), then I needed three coats of the orange to make that color solid.
My only complaint is that it never seemed to reach full opacity, even at three coats, so I put on one coat over two coats
of white polish.
As I did when I reviewed Neon Pink, I put down a coat
of white polish, to see how much of a difference it makes.
