of white quinoa has a light nutty taste and can for example be used as ingredient for breads, bakery, soufflés, soups and sweet entremets.
Black quinoa is a bit earthier and sweeter than the mild taste
of white quinoa.
I love using mixed grains and I often pick up Whole Food's Super Grains for this recipe (it's a mix
of white quinoa, red quinoa, millet, and buckwheat).

I only had two bananas so I used fresh pineapple to make up for the third,
quinoa in place
of millet (as someone else here suggested) and for the flour I used
white flour and oat bran.
Then for the other mix - ins, we went the Mediterranean route with crispy cucumbers, sweet cherry tomatoes, briny olives and
of course our fluffy
white quinoa!

I don't know what went wrong, I used red
quinoa instead
of white and baked it an additional 30 min to the 45 min that was written.
