of the Wiimote as handicapping me with either the choice of writing / pitching with my «off» hand or going against the game design (on games that don't allow left / right handed choices) and forcing my brain / fingers to go against everything I've been doing for 24 + years of gaming.
I'm trying to think of a game that made excellent use
of the WiiMote beyond the obvious Sports pack - in.
I thought Metroid Prime 3 made very good use
of the wiimote (some silly twisting doorknob - mechanics aside).
The colorful brawler relies heavily on motion controls, keeping the new system tied to not - so - distant memories
of the Wiimote.

Wiimote and Graphics combined into a perfect storm
of cruddiness.
After being impressed with the ease
of play with the
Wiimote we tried out the Balance Board play.
That marking is one
of the ones that makes sense, it's the solo
Wiimote that is the most confusing (followed by the
Wiimote and Nunchuk one).
None
of the other games use this combination to say that you use the classic controller and the
WiiMote to power it up.
Team Ninja did a good job with the gameplay, considering that they pretty much had their hands tied up in terms
of decisions (did you know that Sakamoto was the one that wanted the
wiimote only configuration?
It looked great and the action was a lot
of fun, iffy
Wiimote pointing et al..
I went today but they were sold out
of the Mario / Sonic Olympic game with
Wiimote.
I think the same thing is confusing both
of you, a
Wiimote is required to use a Classic Controller.
We're glad to see more gameplay examples
of how the motion controls are going to work considering the fact that this game is the result
of the good folks at Rainbow Studios asking how cool would it be to use the
Wiimote to control a snake.
Well Rainbow, pulling the
Wiimote and Nunchuk apart to simulate the scorpion tearing the wings off
of that wasp was definitely the way to go.
