It's a mix
of winter comfort food with a hint of spring, and I am loving every bite of it.

It's one
of those soups that screams
comfort food on a cold fall or
winter day.
After a brief week
of warmer weather,
winter returned and so did the desire for
comfort food.
I do have a really decent sourdough pizza crust going lately but given this dreary, cold, late
winter season, my own personal need for
comfort foods in the way
of pancakes, and past history
of pancakes making quite the meal to share with others, this quick little bread - based meal is one I hope you get the time to make.
After the heavier
comfort foods of winter, it feels great to eat lighter fresh
foods.
Mmm... This soup encompasses everything I love about
winter comfort food in one bowl: it's warm, satisfying and full
of delicious spices and hearty plant based ingredients!
My
winter menu generally rotates between
comforting soups, spicy stews, crispy stir fries, perfect porridges and spiced teas - all
of which can be packed full
of nutritional whole

winter — I want hot and
comforting food when it is cold out.
