Using a sturdy book or similar item, prop your soap mold up at angle, then evenly pour the soap into two of the cavities
of your soap mold.
There are literally hundreds
of soap molds available on Amazon, but if you don't have a specific soap mold any good size container will do.

I made my first batch
of homemade
soap last night using different
molds I have purchased from Amazon.
For 10 ounces
of soap (which filled 3 round
molds) I used 1 capsule
of Vitamin E, about 1 tablespoon
of honey, and about 1/4 cup
of oats.
What I do to determine this is pour water into your
soap mold, then dump that water into a large measuring cup (like one
of those big glass pyrex ones), and the number
of ounces
of water it took to fill the
mold will be the number
of ounces
of soap base you will need.

To avoid the little bubbles that form on the bottom
of the
soap (i.e. the side you don't see in pictures below) put some rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and give your
soaps a quick spray right after you have put them in their
molds.
While it is true that the saponification process will have completed before you pour it into the
mold, and that the heat will help evaporate some
of the water, both
soaps benefit from the curing period.

soap can be as fun or subtle as you choose, for a delicate sparkling bar
of glitter
soap you will need to add the glitter once a skin has begun to form on the melted
soap base or the glitter will sink towards the bottom
of the
mold (I've used this method in the fun lip gloss
soaps...
Now pour a small amount
of the melt and pour
soap into three cavities
of a round silicone
mold.
Once you bring the
soap to a medium trace, pour the
soap into each
of the cavities
of your
mold.
Ran out
of time and had to
mold the
soap before the lye was completely converted.
(You can set the
soap on the top edge
of the
mold where the shark is to help keep the shark
soap in place.)
Once you've achieved your desired look, carefully place one shark
soap into each
of the four cavities
of your
mold so that the shark toys are positioned at the top edge
of the
mold and the red
soap bottom is positioned toward the middle
of each cavity.
Pour a layer
of the melted
soap into the
mold, spray with rubbing alcohol to remove any bubbles and then allow a skin to form over it.
Once the
soap has reached a heavy trace pour HALF
of the
soap mixture into your prepared, lined
mold with the
soap chunks.

soap recipe fits one
of my wooden cold process
soap molds and will yield 10 - 12 bars depending on how they are cut.
Next, add the pumice and walnut shell powders to the
soap still in the pot and mix until the ingredients are evenly distributed, then pour this remaining
soap into the
mold on top
of the
soap you poured earlier.

of them to make a large batch

Pour the
soap batter into all six
of the
mold's cavities so each is filled.
Step 8: Then carefully pour the green
soap around the edge
of the
mold until it is the same height as the pink
soap.
(This
mold is thicker than a lot
of other silicone
molds and therefore it can be more difficult to push the
soap out cleanly.)
Now fill the
mold with the melted
soap, giving it a light tap to relieve any air bubbles that could ruin the look
of your
soap.
You can either use a knife to cut out a heart shape in the center
of each side
of your
soap geode and fill with red colored clear melt and pour
soap; you can place a heart embed from a small heart shaped
mold into the center
of your
soap geodes and pour clear melt and pour
soap around them; or you use a small heart cookie or knife to create a heart embed for the center
of your
soap geodes from a thin layer
of red dyed
soap.
And then pop your
soap out
of the
molds and then wrap or store them in a dry place ready for use.
Place a heart with the smooth side (top) down into each
of the six cavities
of the Crafter's Choice basic round silicone
soap mold and press firmly against the bottom
of the
mold.
Pour the melted
soap into all six cavities
of your heart
mold.
Glitter
