The C7 Z06 will have three aero packages at launch, and the most aggressive of
those offers more downforce than any production vehicle General Motors has ever built.

This time, two bodystyles were
offered for the same car — although as they were the same length it's not accurate to call them «short» and «long» tails,
more like high
downforce and low drag.
Two aero packages are
offered with the car - a low wing that is claimed to generate 70 %
more downforce than the Z06 and an adjustable high wing that Chevrolet claims to generate over 431 kg of
downforce at the rear.
The ZR1 will
offer two aero packages: a standard rear Low Wing, which delivers the highest top speed, and an available two - way - adjustable High Wing that
offers maximum
downforce on the track for the quickest lap times — about 60 percent
more downforce than the Z06 with the available Z07 Performance Package.
Visually, the FXX K takes LaFerrari's looks to the extreme with a two layer splitter at the front, fins at the front to channel air
more smoothly, find sticking out from the side sills and a dramatic twin wing setup at the back
offering up to 50 per cent
more downforce than LaFerrari.
The new GT3
offers increased grip and stability at high speeds, courtesy of specific modifications to the car's aerodynamics which have increased
downforce front and rear to such an extent that the overall air pressure pushing down on the car is
more than twice as great as on the former model.
