Ironically, I never rarely have butter on hand, so usually opt for coconut
oil as a substitute.
I didn't have tahini so I checked on line and used natural peanut butter mixed with sesame
oil as a substitute.
I also used red pepper flakes, coriander seed and olive
oil as a substitute for Harissa paste.
Maybe for those who commented that the sauce was a little too strong could try the milder flavored olive
oil as a substitute for the sesame oil.
I respect Dr. Greger's statement of avoiding fish oil for its many contaminants and using algae
oil as a substitute but is it really necessary to ingest any pure DHA in the form of an oil?
