As I was in search for a
oil - free
brownie I came across of this
recipe using beans and was quite sceptic at first.
The software gave these
brownies a nutrition grade of D. I can only imagine what the nutrition facts of regular
brownie recipes are out there would be because they for sure use much more sugar, white flour and butter rather than olive
oil.
I used dates instead of sugar and less
oil for the
brownies but apart from that followed the
recipe.

This easy
brownie recipe is all coconut — it's made with coconut flour, coconut

recipe was inspired by Ali's Vegan
Brownies which calls for
oil in addition to the avocado but I wanted to experiment to see if I could make them without the
oil.
I added some chocolate chunks (duh) and chopped pistachios (olive
oil is green, pistachios are green... it just seemed logical to me) and topped them with cacao nibs for crunch and a sprinkle of flake sea salt (my favorite finishing touch for any
brownie recipe).

To sum it up, my vegan
brownie recipe with white beans and peanut butter is plant - based, sugar - free,
oil - free, and gluten - free.
Olive
oil is not a good
oil for cooking (it doesn't hold up well under high heat), and it might change the flavor of the
brownies a little, but it will work in the
recipe.
I had seen a
recipe a while back for olive
oil brownies and I thought it was a super cool idea.
I love this
recipe and i want to try to do those
brownies, but i can't eat butter because it feels so heavy in my stomach, can i substitute the butter for olive
oil?

brownie recipe that works equally well with melted butter or olive
oil), but instead I decided I would try to improve on perfect and started tweaking.
Today I doubled the
recipe, subbed coconut milk and coconut
oil, and made a
brownie pan sized coconut cake.
