The reality is that no one
really knows the
future of
oil prices.
I
really like the onstar turn by turn, and the app on my android where I can start it, check
oil, gas, and tire pressure is
really bringing me into the
future.
Hope these big oils learn something from Arabia people, they
really recognize that
oil era will finish and hurry up build no
oil business preparing for their
future.
They're
really trying to supress the truth for short term windfall gain from
oil and mining while they screw our
future generations... delusional...

Oil really need to give their eyes a rub and see that a world with serious constraints on greenhouse gas emissions is not a possible
future, but an eventual reality.
It is hard to admit fulsomely that, on mature reflection, a lot of it does not stack up or
really be sustainable in a
future minus easy
oil and the abundant easy availability of raw materials.
I'm still not entirely comfortable with nuclear but I admit ignorance there and thus don't
really advocate directly against it (PS somewhat the same position with GM foods / crops); what I know enough to be afraid of and advocate against is a BAU
future of coal,
oil, and gas, especially one without CCS or other sequestration, with mountaintop removal mining, with tar sands, with fracking (you may already be aware of the radioactivity associated with that), Hg, escalating prices, etc (and you would be against this too, I'm sure).
