oil stocks rose sharply last week, bringing overall supply to its highest
level since December, and gasoline inventories also rose, the Energy Information Administration said
on Wednesday.
Following the announcement, crude
oil immediately spiked 2.5 percent over uncertainty of how this might affect the Middle Eastern kingdom's position
on keeping
oil production at current
levels.
Saudi Arabia is the world's second - largest

oil exporter, so any development that might alert investors that the kingdom's production

oil policy could be disrupted has historically had a profound effect

Based
on the current
