I think the coconut
oil is quite vital to this
recipe as it binds the mixture together!
Hi Janna, I usually use a regular sized coffee cup to measure my
recipes which worked out to be the same
as 100 ml for the olive
oil.
I posted a blog a while ago about a natural body scrub
recipe too, and I'm definitely going to try coconut
oil as body moisturiser next!
I wouldn't recommend using olive
oil in the
recipe as it is generally only used in savoury
recipes.

recipe without the
oil as you will have liquid from the other ingredients so it should still turn out well!

Hi Molly, cacao butter is really great to use in this
recipe as it binds the mixture together and has a chocolately taste but you could also try using coconut
oil instead!

I wanted to ask, when you state tablespoons of coconut
oil in your
recipes do you mean
as it comes in the jar or melted?
For these muffins extra virgin olive
oil instead or coconut
oil will work great,
as will omitting the agave but unfortunately the dates are a really big part of the
recipe so I don't know if you can replace them.
I think it tastes best cut into little cubes and roasted with salt and olive
oil,
as in this
recipe,
as this way it becomes so unbelievably soft and tender that it just melts - in - you - mouth.

as i m trying to loose a few pounds, is there an alternative to so much

recipes call for Turkish Delight but
as I am not a fan of
Oil of Bergamot (which is in Turkish delight or Rose Water), I most often substitute Gummy Bears for the sweet, chewy filling.

And when replacing
oil for butter in

as pancakes, make sure to use a neutral tasting
oil such
as canola or vegetable.
