For tough to get clean loads (like kitchen dish towels) I
add these items to loads when necessary: Borax, OXO Bright, Eco Cover stain remover on individual garments, Dawn dish
soap (for greece), vinegar and sometimes some essential
oil to make things smell nice.
The water must be very hot to dissolve the lanolin, then
add a little Eucalan or olive
oil soap to keep the lanolin from glopping.

added coffee grounds to part of it and tangerine essential

To make the
soap more cleansing / sudsy, you can
add more coconut
oil, reducing the amount of olive

Adding too much can change the consistency of your
soap, keeping it from hardening properly (you'd have to
add a lot for this to happen though), and how much you should
add will vary depending on the brand of fragrance
oil you use (check the packaging).
I used a scented Dr. Bronners
soap and
added about half the essential
oil, and it came out great.
Having said that please also remember that lime essential
oil does tend to lose its scent very quickly in cold processed
soap, so you will need to
add 1/2 a teaspoon of benzoin or vitamin E at trace along with the essential oils, this will act as a fixative.
Without the coconut
oil to
add suds and cleansing ability to your
soap, my guess is that it will be a soft bar of
soap that won't be a very good cleaner.
Coconut
oil is often
added to improve lather, and other oils may also be
added to give the
soap other properties.
Let slightly cool and
add your Castile
soap and essential
oil.
I heated sweet almond
oil and coconut
oil in my tiny crock pot and
added dried chamomile, lavender flowers on low for about four hours, strained the
oil,
added the guar gum and essential oils (chamomile and lavender) and mixed with the
soap and water mixture.

I have been using another homemade
soap recipe similar to this one but I wasn't a fan of it, so I tried this one and
added some almond

oil for some

If nothing else, try just

soap and water to lower the ratio of the tea tree

oil during the process (after «melting» the ground
soap) to increase the «superfat» content... Eg.

Place liquid back into the bottle then
add castile

soaps though, and is the correct, skin - friendly, acidic PH. A bit of organic Sunflower seed
oil adds Vitamin E and keeps skin from being overly dry post-cleanse.

added benefit is that water - based latex dries faster than
oil - based alkyd, and clean up's a lot easier — just
