One of the arguments used by supporters of the Keystone XL pipeline is that pipelines are safer than transporting
the oil via the rail roads, as is currently being done.

via KXL by forcing them to be shipped to market in a more expensive way.
With so much of this
oil crossing the United States
via pipeline and
rail, there is considerable risk of spills and it is not right that they are able to avoid these
oil spill liability trust fund fees.
