I'll be fine with my
backlog of
old games, or newer
games that's at least feature - complete before being tested and released, which many don't seem to be anymore.
We're in the last month of 2015's Summer
Backlog Attack, our annual attempt to play through some of those
older, neglected
games before the new hits of fall arrive.
So 4 out of 5 of my
backlog games are complete and I've finished one episode of
game of thrones (overall completion 82 %) I'm pretty happy with my progress (especially considering I've got a 5 month
old too!)
Every summer, when the days between new
game releases grow longer and longer, we take advantage of all extra time by digging into our
backlogs for
older games we've never gotten around to playing.
Having accumulated a big
backlog and become increasingly accustomed to paying lower prices for
games only a year or so
old, I have pretty much stopped chasing the next big release.
I think it will... I am going to get a Xbox Scorpio... I do not have a Xbox One, I have a 4 year
old Xbox360 and a
backlog of
games to play on it, the 8th generation will have me join it with Scorpio

So many new
games to try,
old games to check out because of the sale, and that
backlog that never seems to run out.
I'll just be pick up theses new
games on the ps4 and dang there's a lot i want this week R.I.P
backlog and who needs
old boring Ps2
games.
Remasters are commonplace now, and in the summer drought of
game releases, they're often a nice way of retreading
old ground or covering blanks in your
backlog.
