old book learning.

I would say read the Holy
Books start with the «Quran» being the latest Holy
book that came combined to correct the
older version ones read just for knowledge and not for finding a religion but to
learn what they say about God..
We have
learned to love via our own abilities and not that as taught by a 2000 year
old book.
The
Books of Law are a part of the
Old Covenant (they are not required for those reconciled to God by Christ's sacrifice), yet we can
learn about God's desire to be near His people through them.
There are a few
books that are appropriate for kids to use for
learning to read, but most of them are just good
old read - alouds.
Learning new things is most productive with an OPEN MIND and not one looking for EXCUSES for contradictions and errors in a 2,000 - year -

There is a lot of valuable information in this
book, and if you are interested in
learning more about Jesus and the development of Messianic themes in the
Old Testament, in the Intertestamental period, and in the New Testament, I highly recommend Jesus the Messiah by Bateman, Bock, and Johnston.
Maybe if people
learned to reside in the 21st century and by the evidence that we have now opposed to information from a 2000 year
old book, this world would be a better place.
In
learning Old Testament Hebrew, the first
book we worked on was Genesis.
Grab a history
book and
learn the difference between the
Old and New Testaments and educate yourself between the religions.
At last we could actually
learn and no one would have unfounded faith in fairytales and a really
old (2000 years + now) unwise
book.
We also
learn in this preface that verse divisions in the Bible are «purely arbitrary» and «do not reflect the intentions of the original authors» (whoever they are) and that scholars agree that the «
Book of J» is «the
oldest strand in the Pentateuch.»
I fully expected to walk straight into a crazy - successful twentysomething life with accolades, salaries, bonuses, a big -
old - fat -
book - deal, and a plethora of people who wanted to
learn my secrets to success, all by 23 years
old.
