The recent currency policy by India's Modi and Venezuela's Maduro are credited as one of the factors, as the leader of these two countries tried to replace the old currency notes.
As part of anti-corruption measures, he also ordered that the currency be replaced - the colour of the naira notes were changed - forcing all holders of oldnotes to exchange them at banks within a limited period.
