I didn't take many pictures this week (I'm really missing my phone,) but I will always remember my sick little guy, sleeping on my shoulder on the porch swing we made from
some old kitchen chairs.

chair rail in the dining room, added crown moulding in the living room and dining room, and painted lots of rooms.

I kept all of my
old furniture, repurposed a few things (coffee table became a side table, brought my
kitchen shelves into my office and my office shelves into the
kitchen, moved pillows around etc), and bought a new
chair, dining table, dresser, and nightstands.
For some simple tricks to update your
kitchen / diner, use inexpensive wood - effect vinyl flooring from Rhinofloor, use greens and blues to freshen the room, and save space by swapping
old chairs for a bench placed against a wall.

old blue and white pottery, are here, but the John Lewis wooden units, an antique dining table and
