BTW, the old rack is going from forest green to a bronzy brown with previous «pecan» warped wood top to natural wood top with «peg holes» (read: turned over top, filled
old screw holes with wood filler, then used dark furniture crayon on top, and LOTS of polyurethane of course!)

This TV stand does away with the furniture part of the equation in favor of two legs that you'll
screw into the
holes on the back of your TV so that the TV can stand on any
old table.
Indeed, it's the same mounting system — a metal plate
screws into the same
holes the
old deadbolt lever used, and then the August lock clips onto that with a pair of latching arms — as the first and second generation models.

oldest drilled pocket
holes and helped
screw them into the wall, the 6 year
old marked which board was for what, and placed the pocket
hole screws in the
holes, and my youngest sanded all the edges of all the boards.

screw... the dry wood will crack if you don't pre-drill!)
