I'm all for a party but I want my quiet moment at home,
to celebrate another year of my
baby getting
older,
to sing Happy Birthday, and have her all
to myself.
You can make up small, silly games that both of you can play together, when your
baby is a little
older and has better eye - hand coordination: pass a small stuffed toy
to each other,
sing and dance
to a favorite rhythm, generally jump around and act silly.
Let
older siblings be in charge of choosing the outfit for the day, or
singing to the
baby during diaper changes.
Although the concept of sharing is foreign for a 3 year
old, there were plenty of times when our little girl helped
