As the title suggests, the exhibition makes immediate reference to the age
old social tensions between the North and South of the UK, tenderly turning them on their heads and instead choosing as its focus a celebration of togetherness, alignment and conversation.
(39) The basis for that model is rooted in the
social history of ancient Israel and is evidenced textually in the
Old Testament
tension between the transformative vision of Moses, which belonged to the earliest voice of liberated Israel, and the stabilizing tendency of royal theology which sought to build institutions and establish a reliable
social structure.
