Our unit was
older, but recently renovated — with new appliances, cabinets, and granite counters
in the kitchenette and new
tile, vanities, and toilets
in the
bathroom.
I have real marble or marble
tiles (100ys
old)
in almost all my
bathrooms and kitchen, and while easy to clean, it's very COLD and hard underfoot.
The
tile in these
old bathrooms aren't at all like the
tile in new
bathrooms.
It reminded me of the kind of black and white
bathroom tile we had
in the
old house I grew up
in.
I think the last picture is showing
old historic
tiles from historiske.dk — several companies carry these now and I just had them installed
in my
bathroom in the black and grey version — they are very pretty
We need to re-do our guest
bathroom (mostly the shower / tub), the shower
in there is like
old pink
tiles that are literally falling off the wall and we would LOVE to redo it with some pretty white

One of the things I love most about our house is the
old turquoise

The before reminds me so much of the
