laminate wood flooring, newer water heaters, new vanity / sink - top, newer one - piece tub / shower surround, and
older but immaculately kept appliances.
I am
old enou.gh to remember my mother gushing about the wonders of
laminate over
wood countertops!
I considered doing some painted and stenciled floors (which would have worked well), but also liked the idea of
wood tones too over the
old laminate.
I have a question about your floors... when you removed them for the new
laminate, did the
old wood floors run under your cabinetry?
Anyways, for the bedroom, I'm wanting to stay away from purple — my colors will be white trim (and if we can get this
old house's floor level enough,
laminate wood flooring — probably in a mid-tone brown / gray); I think I'm going to accent with sea glass colors (blue and green and silver and glass) and water hyacinth bins from the container store for open dresser storage.
