Otherwise I wore him in the
Ergo carrier, which I think is the best
carrier for heavier /
older kids and for longer periods of time.
But having a Wild 16 month
old and a 2week
old... Having a greT
carrier like the
ergo would be so helpful!!!
If your baby isn't
old enough to reliably walk through the airport, wear him / her in a front
carrier, sling,
Ergo, Sutemi, etc..
I've worn my son in an
older Ergo Organic
carrier and an
Ergo Sport a few times and both were pretty comfy.
I used an
older model of the
Ergo carrier with my firstborn (4 years ago) and was excited to get a model that allows the baby to sit forward facing.
I have the
Ergo carrier that I bought for my now 7 year
old when she was a baby, so I was familiar with the quality of
Ergo's products.
Ergo Baby is the
carrier that we used with our daughter and on a rare occasion my 4 year
old will still ask to be worn she still fits in the
Ergo.
Now that our son is
older (13 months) I find that the
Ergo baby
carrier is very useful and eventhough he is about 25 lbs, I don't feel the weight as much as if he were being carried on the Baby Byorn.
At one point, I owned half a dozen strollers (attachment parenting frowns upon these because they keep Mom from physically connecting with her baby), but I also strap my almost 5 - year -
old into an
Ergo baby
carrier — and love feeling her big - girl weight on my back.
