on a little it is quite easy to get it
on sale, especially
on the
older consoles.
Talk to an

on and he'll lure you in with
sales patter before offering a Magikarp for 500 dollars — small change by the end of the
game, but a not inconsiderable sum early
on.
Definitely no interest in Knack — it wasn't a great
game when it came out, plus it's quite

on sale for a couple of quid several times anyway.

old fast) The Wii - U was a MUCH better system but didn't sell because people didn't want an upgrade to the Wii, they wanted something new and nintendo did a HORRIBLE job promoting the Wii - U, not to mention they gave up
on the Wii - U so fast they didn't even give it a chance, a system won't sell if it doesn't have enough
games.
Back before Steam
sales and Humble Bundles, boxed compilations was some of the best ways to get your hands
on older games cheaply.
These
game sales normally cut the price
on best - selling, newly - released or
old - gem - type titles, with rates going up to 90 % in some cases.
Not only will the nostalgia help sell the pack, but making these
old games relevant again might lead to increased
sales on the Virtual Console and I don't see how Nintendo could want to pass
on that.
The last mainline
game in the series is over 5 years
old, and while
sales have been a giving gift to Nintendo, the big N seems to be in no rush to release the next
game on the Switch.
Beware if you live in the UK and you're like me, who trades in all my
old games around Christmas time to rack up store credit to pounce
on the January
sales,
GAME won't take this.
For example, if you play
old PC
games that came
on discs, you can often re-purchase them
on GOG or Steam for a small amount of money — especially during
sales — and install those instead of relying
on your
old physical discs.
