Skagen offers the open - air museum Fortidsminder, which depicts life in an
old Danish fishing village, and it's famous for its
jazz and folk music
festival, held every summer in restaurants and bars that have opened in refurbished fish stores around the harbor.

There are also several autumn
festivals in the Santa Ynez Valley, including the Solvang
Jazz Festival in September, as well as several of the Valley's roots
festivals, including Solvang's Danish Days and Los Olivos
Old Days.

festival in the world, coming up in a mere two weeks, is the New Orleans French Quarter

jazz & funk musicians taking over the Big Easy's historic French Quarter, as well as several stages along the banks of the Mississippi River, from morning till night.
