NYFW photography is focused
on the city as much as the hoopla surrounding the shows.
If you're trying to find someone who's having fun every second he's out and about during
NYFW, then Koo is one to keep an eye
on.
These cocktails — three for each collaboration — were served at exclusive after parties
on Tuesday, July 14th honoring each of designers and the incredible accomplishment of showcasing their designs at
NYFW: Men's.
On the final day of
NYFW, I began indulging in festivities during the late afternoon as I viewed the DexterDexterDexter show as well as the Laurel Dewitt collection.
Attending
NYFW the past few years has really given me a lot of hands -
on experience, so I love to share with all of you!
The bow trend is also sweeping the streets, from being worn
on the head like Marchesa and Tory Burch models did
on the runway during
NYFW, or
on the neck like some celebrities did during the Golden Globes — they're becoming a creative way of adding a fun and different accessory to your look!
For my
NYFW SS18 day 3 and 4 experiences, I paced myself with shows and focused more
on attending events and meeting other bloggers (click here to see what I was up to
on days 1 and 2).
Originally announced last year at
NYFW, the entire collection will come to life at a celebratory runway show with 20 - 25 signature looks
on September 12, 2017, at the Metropolitan West.
It was my only Anthro look for
NYFW, and I love it because it will be
on repeat I'm sure, all the way through fall!
I've had a really hectic past couple of days settling back in after all the madness of
NYFW, trying to catch up
on all of my emails as well as finish up some new exciting projects for you guys!
The husband and I have been here the last few days for
NYFW and it's been a whirlwind of fashion, fun and food (follow me
on snapchat lacenlocks if you want to see more).
If I were planning
on what I would wear for
NYFW, I would definitely go for bold colors like millennial pink and power red!
I'm back home from
NYFW and frantically packing for my trip to Barcelona and then hopping
on a ship for 10 days to explore more of Spain, France and Italy.
NYFW went for the oversized silhouette with an emphasis
on the shoulders and also the print mixing.

I've been meaning to do a travel diary of my
NYFW experience this September and the road trip my husband and I went
on right after, but didn't get around to it until now!
I received so many compliments
on this dress while at
NYFW (I apparently had nothing to worry about!).

I am determined to make it spring outside... I am over the slushy sidewalks, constant fear of snow screwing up my commute and the fact that it makes me sleepier than usual (case in point I am practically falling asleep while writing this... in case you didn't know, I write my posts the night before they are published... 9/10 times I am wrapped in a towel with wet hair laying
on my bed having the constant battle in my head of whether to write the post or pass out... clearly we see what won... writing the post haha) I LOVE color year round, so it's no surprise that for one of the freezing days at
NYFW I decided to wear shades of white, blue and black (all I am missing is gold and it could potentially be #The Dress... seriously didn't understand that whole craze for all of 24 hours haha) Anyways... Back to what I am wearing and how it can transition perfectly into the spring.

Hugo Boss, too, has joined the
NYFW calendar since bringing
on Jason Wu as artistic director that same month, putting
on a full runway show (complete with an A-list front row) at 4 World Trade Center last September.
NYFW is definitely
on my radar now since they sadly cancelled our Toronto fashion week (wah wah).

The brand used to put
on presentations during less - hectic times of the year because, Lyons said, editors told her it was easier for them to go to if it wasn't during
NYFW (very true) but, she said, «when we decided to go international as a brand, we realized we were missing all of the international press.»

Prior to
NYFW I ran by Tootsies
on a mission to find a statement piece for my trip.
While there is usually a bit of overlap between
NYFW, LFW, MFW and PFW, this year event organizers were careful mostly not to step
on anyone's toes.
I wore this
on the final day of
NYFW and the colors moved me.
They were so gracious to let me borrow this white Chanel and a black one for my time during
NYFW; you will see more posts of these bags coming
on the blog over the next two weeks.
Since sitting it out across the world and catching up
on all the
NYFW news via the web this past season, one thing and person that caught my attention were, for one, these unique, eye - catching (one that really stands out from the crowd and quite figuratively with the eyes) metallic clutches pop - up
on every streetstyle feed, and the girl mixing and matching bold patterns effortlessly while adorning these very clutches.

NYFW, I got these newbies for Spring and I'm obsessed!
I've been flipping through magazines and creeping
on all the
NYFW Instagram posts like a mad woman lately.
It has always been my dream since I was a youngster to attend
NYFW in any way, shape or form, so this season I am excited to not only catch up with my LA blogger pals who are flying in for the festivities but also to network with some of my idols in the industry Anyways... back to the focus of today... reptile prints and crochet shorts... yes... shorts in the fall, why not?My black crochet shorts are from Urban Outfitters, I found similar ones from ChicWish because I bought these babies
on clearance probably two years ago and they are no longer available.
