The modern convenience of grocery stores and farms is the only thing allowing
people on a plant based diet to survive, nowhere else will you find this.
There is so much information out
there on plant based diets that you could probably spend days or even months trying to find the answers to all your questions.
Focus on a plant based diet, basically anything that gets processed before you eat it will, in one way or another, lead to toxin build up.
There is no need to focus on protein when trying to build
muscle on a plant based diet, but it is important to take note of caloric density.
While she makes some good points about eating too much unfermented soy, she feels a need to promote that myths that individuals
on a plant based diet do not get enough vitamins, minerals and protein and of course claims there are not scientific studies that indicate saturated fat and cholesterol contribute to heart disease.
If I can survive and be healthy, thriving even,
on a plant based diet with supplements to enhance the things that are harder to obtain from these sources, why would I ever choose to kill and eat another creature to sustain myself?
I'd gladly take a simple vitamin B12
supplement on a plant based diet than ingest the harmful tradeoffs of saturated fats from animal tissue to fortify my body with B - 12.
